Police Make Three Arrests  in California-Kirkbride Burglary

Summary:

Just before 1:30 a.m., Zone 1 officers responded to reports of someone breaking into a residence in the 900 block of California Avenue.

A female locked herself and a child in an upstairs bedroom, barricaded the door with furniture, and communicated with officers on scene through a window. Officers forced entry, encountering two actors who were taken into custody.

Just after 2 a.m., units on scene observed an additional male on the roof. Officers requested the use of a drone from Allegheny County Police to ensure no other individuals were hiding on the roof.

D'Mon Brown, 23, Levar Chapman, 27, and Daemon Choat, 22 were arrested.

They each face charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and Criminal Mischief. Daemon Choat faces additional charges of Resisting Arrest and Evading Arrest.

All three males were transported to the ACJ.
